Zhiming M. Zhou, Ph.D.

Dr. Zhiming M. Zhou has over eighteen years experience of active involvement in many aspects of adhesives and coatings in the United States, China and the United Kingdom.  He has been working on both pressure sensitive adhesives and structural adhesives for a variety of applications, from electronic and industrial use to home and office products, from automotive and aerospace assembly to medical and optical products.  He had held both senior technical and management positions, including diversified experience in the innovation of special coatings, adhesives and primers (adhesion promoters).  Dr. Zhou has also experienced tremendous success in commercializing high performance adhesives and coatings in the United States, China and Europe.  A corporate consultant across eight divisions in adhesives, polymer coatings and processing engineering.

Prior to joining ChemQuest, Dr. Zhou worked for 3M where he served as Team Leader for Consumer Products and New Product Development. Zhiming earned his Ph.D. in Polymer Materials from the University of Leeds in England in 1994.  He conducted his Postdoctoral research in Polymer Science & Engineering at the University of Massachusetts in 1996.  He holds a B.S. in Polymer Processing Engineering and a M.Sc. in Polymer Materials & Chemistry from South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, P.R. China.
