John E. Orloff, Jr.
Vice President
Prior to joining The ChemQuest Group, Inc., John
Orloff's career spanned thirty-nine years in the
adhesive industry with National Adhesives in a broad range of technical, sales,
marketing and business development management positions. Highly skilled in
identifying, analyzing and commercializing new business and technology
opportunities that create value and change. He is a "corporate
facilitator" skilled in applying sound process methods to help management
determine "Does anyone care?" His focus is on listening and identifying
critical actions, tests to run, prior to making significant investment decisions
in the pursuit of value and change.
John's capabilities include broad based expertise
in core adhesive and coating technologies (hot melts, water based, solvent,
reactive hot melts, and 100% solids) and the markets, applications and trends
impacting their use. (Packaging, Converting, Tapes and Labels, Flexible
Packaging, Medical, Hygiene, Wood, Product Assembly, Transportation,
Electronics, etc.)
Also, M&A process experience in due diligence and
anti-trust compliance.
John's extensive industry involvement including presenting white papers as well
as committee work with associations such as The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC),
FEICA, TAPPI, PSTC, RadTech, Gorham, SCIP.
John has also been a contributor on the History Channel's Modern Marvels - The
"History of Glue" television program.
John holds
a degree from Lehigh University (BS Chemistry) and Senior Management Training
Programs with Unilever, ICI.
