Dan Nemunaitis joined The ChemQuest Group, Inc. in 2009 from the Sherwin-Williams Company where he has held various Director positions including Technology, Materials Utilization, Product Development, External Technology and New Business Development.

He has over 42 years of experience with a strong background in materials for coatings and adhesives such as epoxies, additives, various polymer chemistries, flame retardants, corrosion inhibitors colorants, pigments, etc.

Dan has provided direction for technology developments for the consumer, industrial and specialty markets.  He also managed the technical service units that provided competitive intelligence, IT applications, analytical analysis, and physical characterization of materials and products.  He has led the development and implementation of new advanced manufacturing technology for improving the efficiency and quality control of plant operations.

Dan has extensive experience on obtaining unique material and product technology from unique sources such as entrepreneurs and venture capital groups leading to new business opportunities.  He has experience in starting up new businesses entities in the service and material areas such as Omega Products and Services LLC.

Dan's primary strengths include a high level of technical expertise, organizational management, strong interpersonal skills, business planning, and strategic program development.

Dan holds degrees from John Carroll University  (BS and MS Chemistry) and has a business background from Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
